Context: back to school
WALT: use different sentences to engage my audience
Masks everywhere, social distancing, fewer students, deserted spaces, and open windows. I feel so excited to see my friends and teachers. Even though Auckland has so many cases at the moment, we are all being super careful. This is very different from what my life looked like at home. There is also much less work and that's exactly why I'm here at school. School has so much entertainment because there is barely anything boring to do and the teachers are making school so fun. Everyone doesn't like covid but we get to play in the new park how cool is that. My favorite place on the new playground is the big swing.

I really like this description, especially how you opened it with "masks everywhere". It captures exactly what it's like in our school and across the country.
